My client is looking for a natural rapport builder that can build strong customer relationships with clients, has a proven track record working in sales and ideally have an insurance/financial services or recruitment background (however it is not a necessity) as full product training will be given.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with pre-qualified leads from the telesales team and contacting the client to conduct a fact find.
- Increase sales by generating leads and winning new business via phone, email and written communications.
- Identification and development of new business opportunities.
- Underwrite and consider each risk before presenting to insurers and authorised signatories.
- Creating strategies to develop growth and improving business procedures.
- Converting enquiries into sales.
- Negotiating with insurers and process new policy terms/quotes.
- Obtaining leads and cross-selling on general insurance products and business solutions products.
- Dealing with all calls of a technical nature from insurers and clients.
- Working to monthly revenue targets.
- Updating the CRM system, with accurate information, diarising follow up communication.
- Attending team meetings and assisting in some ad-hoc project work.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and responding swiftly to client queries and concerns.
The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:
- Proven track record in a sales-based role, ideally within insurance, financial services, recruitment, however it is not a necessity.
- Demonstrable ability to work to sales targets.
- Happy to complete training and development hours to support CPD and CII modules to comply with FCA regulations.
- Strong communication and can build strong business relationships.
- Great negotiation skills and can work well under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills inclusive of Word, Excel and using in-house CRM systems.
- Proactive, driven and takes pride in all that you do.
- Thrives in a busy team environment.
