Our client manufacture a range of products to the construction sector across UK & Ireland

We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the team working across production equipment and machinery carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance

Monday to Friday hours working a 3 shift rotation of early 6am - 3.30pm, days 8am - 5.30pm and lates 3.30pm - 1am, with Fridays finishing early on each shift

Attractive salary package on offer in the £38 - 45k range negotiable on skills and experience

The Role

Carry out maintenance and repairs on high speed automated equipment
Maintain and support automated production and conveying systems
Respond to breakdowns quickly and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
Work as part a team to support production and operations
Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues

What we are looking for

Level 3 or above apprenticeship Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or similar
Proven knowledge and experience of production equipment maintenance
Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems
Knowledge of CNC machines is desirable
Knowledge of PLC's
Electrical fault finding skills and problem solving
Can troubleshoot effectively in a fast paced production setting
