Key Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, effectively differentiating for students of varying abilities.
Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring all learners make excellent progress in the subject.
Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and enthusiasm for Maths.
Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help them excel.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning of Maths across the department.

The Successful Maths Teacher Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach Maths up to GCSE level.
Be passionate about teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons effectively.
Be organised, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality education.
Possess a valid Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or be willing to apply for one.
