Job Duties:

Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of their regular teachers
Adhere to the school's curriculum and lesson plans
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS check
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different teaching environments

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience working as a teacher or supply teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of educational best practises
Effective classroom management skills
Ability to engage and motivate students

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education
Experience teaching in a variety of school settings

Working Conditions:

Work in school settings following school hours and term dates
Potential travel to different schools within the region
Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
