Day shifts are available Monday - Friday & weekends.This role will involve:- Local delivery and collection of Automotive parts- Local sequence deliveries from manufacturing facility into plant- Some distance deliveries to and from other suppliers / manufacturers- Typical start times between 05:00 - 07:00 on days- 8-10 hour shifts (Minimum 9 paid / Inc 1 hour Overtime)- No Handball- Weekend work available at inflated pay rates- Sites based in Solihull & North BirminghamSuccessful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:- Have at least 6 months C+E experience- Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph cardHGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay:Monday to Friday days £14.24 per hour (Hours 06:00-18:00)Overtime after 8 hours per shift between £21.36 - £24.92 per hourGuaranteed 9 hours per shift (1 hours overtime daily)Mandatory assessments are involved which will include:- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)- Full site and safe systems of work induction- Vehicle familiarisation- Practical driving assessmentWorking for Pertemps, you will benefit from:- Weekly or Monthly pay via BACS (PAYE)- Free Uniform- Access to driver training including CPC- Dedicated local consultants- 24/7 contactPLEASE CLICK APPLY!
