School Cleaners - Primary & Secondary Schools

Location: South Yorkshire

Pay: £12.82 - £13.32 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 3:30pm - 5:30/6:00pm
Contract Type: Long-term, with casual/bank opportunities available

Role Overview:

Provide Education is seeking hardworking and reliable Cleaners to join our team for long-term positions at local primary and secondary schools in South Yorkshire. We also have casual, short-term roles for those looking for flexibility in their schedule. As a School Cleaner, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Cleaning Duties: Carry out general cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms, classrooms, and communal areas.

* Reporting Issues: Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the school's premises team.

* Equipment Use: Use school-provided cleaning equipment to ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard.

* Teamwork: Work alongside the school's premises team to ensure the entire site is kept in excellent condition.

What We're Looking For:

* Friendly and Team-Oriented: You should be approachable, able to work well with others, and have a positive attitude.

* Experience: Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Flexible Opportunities:

If you're seeking more flexibility, we also offer casual cleaning roles. These are ideal for individuals looking for short-term assignments that typically last a few weeks. You can also opt to take a break before moving on to your next assignment.

For those wanting more hours, there may be opportunities to pick up shifts in the mornings or work as a lunchtime supervisor.
