RP Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Grantham to recruit an Assistant Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to join a dynamic team in a hands-on role with diverse responsibilities.

Location: Full time, permanent and site-based in GranthamSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Oversee contracts from start to finish, including monthly reporting
• Financial Reporting: Labour journals, daily sales reports, weekly inventory reports, and more
• Cash Management: Bank transactions, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and payment setups
• General Accounting: Prepayments, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and expense analysis
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance Controller and Dubai team on loan reconciliations and commercial reporting
• Process Improvements: Analyse cost savings and ensure compliance in expenses

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role at this level is essential
• Qualifications: Preferably AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified
• Skill Set: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent communication skills
