Warehouse Manager / Supervisor - Immediate start​
Description/Responsibilities:​
1. Operations Management:
* ​Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, are executed efficiently and accurately.​
* Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.​
* Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate inventory records.​
* Coordinate and optimise the use of warehouse space and equipment.​
* Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and company guidelines.
2. Staff Supervision:​
* Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.​

Schedule and assign tasks to staff, ensuring that all operations run smoothly.​
*
Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork.
3. Inventory Control:​
* Monitor stock levels and perform regular stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records.​
*
Implement and manage inventory control systems to reduce errors and improve order fulfillment accuracy.​
4.Despatching and Goods In:​
* Hands on role in the accurate receiving of raw material and ensure that products are inspected, labelled and stored correctly.​
*
Manage outbound deliveries, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
5.Health and Safety:​
*
Ensure that the warehouse complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.​
*
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to minimise workplace accidents and injuries.​
*
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
6. Process Improvement:​
*
Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement.​
*
Implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.​
*
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.​
7. Reporting and Communication:​
*
Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and shipping times.​
*
Communicate effectively with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment and collaboration.​
*
Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise within the warehouse.​
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:​
*
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager / Stores Supervisor.​
*
Fork lift operator with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.​
*
Experience in Aerospace or other highly regulated industries where material traceability is key.​
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills., responsible, reliable and self motivated.​
*
Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.​
*
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.​
*
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations. and strong organisational skills and attention to detail.​
*
Relevant certifications in warehouse management or logistics preferred (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified in Production and Inventory Management), or qualified by experience.​
*
Familiarisation with saws for cutting material and Eagerness to learn and develop.​
Clean drivers licence for occasional local customer deliveries in van.​
