EUC Technical Manager

Birmingham / Hybrid Working with travel to UK sites when required

Were looking for an EUC Technical Manager (Product Manager) to define and implement the technical strategy, manage the EUC team, and oversee the delivery of End User Computing (EUC) products and services at Ingeus. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision to ensure the effective management of EUC solutions, aligned with organisational goals and industry standards.

What you will be doing as our EUC Technical Manager:

  • Lead the EUC Team: Provide leadership and mentorship to the EUC team, ensuring effective delivery of services and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop and Implement EUC Strategy: Define and manage the technical and product strategy for laptops, mobiles, telephony, printers, and collaboration tools, integrating industry best practices.
  • Drive Technical Excellence: Oversee the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.), Windows Autopilot, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Enhance User Experience: Introduce and manage modern workplace solutions, including automation, self-service capabilities, and innovative tools, to improve productivity and end user satisfaction.
  • Manage Product Roadmap: Build and maintain a roadmap aligned with Ingeus iDigital strategy, prioritising initiatives based on business needs and user feedback.
  • Optimise EUC Infrastructure: Ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of the EUC environment by implementing robust technical solutions and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with IT leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to align EUC services with organisational objectives.
  • Oversee Compliance and Security: Implement security best practices for endpoint protection, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Defender and Conditional Access Policies.
  • Monitor and Improve Performance: Use analytics to identify performance trends, resolve bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement measures.

What you will need to be our EUC Technical Manager:

  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing and developing a team, driving performance, and building a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory.
    • Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot, device configuration policies, and application deployment.
    • PowerShell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting.
    • Understanding of endpoint security frameworks and compliance policies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to define and manage a roadmap that balances technical and business priorities.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Experience using analytics and user insights to improve services.
  • Budget Management: Ability to forecast and manage budgets effectively for EUC products and services.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication skills to gather requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations across technical and business teams.
