Accounts Payable Clerk - Basingstoke, Hampshire - 3 month contract to permanent - £18ph - £21ph umbrella rate - (Hybrid 2 days in the office)

FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering with an industry leading Pharmaceutical business based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Due to a recent system project and growth we are on the search for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the business on a 3 month contract to permanent.

The duties of the Accounts Payable Clerk role include:

• Processing multi-currency purchase invoices
• Monitoring AP mail box
• Carry out monthly supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on resulting queries
• Dealing with telephone and email supplier queries
• Participate in process improvement projects, ensure best practice and offer ideas for continuous improvement
• Flexible approach and open to continuous improved ways of working
• Intercompany recharges on a monthly basis
• Working as part of the European Finance Team
• Ensuring accurate VAT records
• Preparation of Supplier payments on a weekly basis
• Month end accrual journals and schedule completion
• Intercompany statement reconciliation
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Help the Finance Manager with ledger review at month end

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will:

• Have at least 3+ years Accounts Payable experience.
• SAP experience - desirable
