Interim - Maternity Cover (9 months)

£55,000 - £65,000

Location: Sheffield (Hybrid Model 2/3 days at site with the rest at home)

Eaton Syalon is recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Sheffield for a Group Financial Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave. Our client is seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to lead on financial accounting and reporting activities across the Group, ensuring statutory and taxation compliance, maintaining accuracy in PLC reporting, and overseeing financial controls, and internal audits. You will also play a key role in statutory consolidations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage UK statutory and taxation compliance
• Ensure accuracy in internal financial reporting for the PLC
• Lead internal audit fieldwork and reporting
• Oversee treasury functions and processes
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
• Assist with external audit queries and statutory account submissions

What We’re Looking For:

You will be a technically strong ACA/ACCA qualified individual with strong consolidations experience. Whether your route to qualification was practice or industry we would love to hear from you if you have good technical knowledge of IFRS, and demonstratable experience in multi-site, multi-currency consolidations. With strong IT skills (in particular Excel & reporting tools), you have strong analysis skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
