At Amplius, we’re looking for an Estates Maintenance Operative to join the team. If you love working with your hands, being outdoors, and making communities look their best, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Location: Milton Keynes

  • Salary: £25,080 per year

  • Contract: Permanent, full time

  • Your week: 36.25 hours (7.30am - 3.30pm Mon-Thurs / 7.30am to 2.30pm Fri)

Snapshot of your role

  • Carry out mowing, hedge cutting, pruning, and weed control in communal areas.

  • Maintain and upkeep tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient use.

  • Identify and report any issues or concerns within communal areas.

  • Keep accurate daily records of completed tasks and report via an electronic tablet.

  • Ensure communal areas are maintained to a high standard using a range of grounds maintenance skills.

Your toolkit for success

  • Proven experience in general grounds maintenance, including mowing, hedge cutting, and pruning in a commercial setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a customer-focused service.

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

  • Skilled and competent in all aspects of grounds maintenance work.

  • Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Capable of completing daily administrative tasks and using tablets for remote working.

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including employer and employee obligations.

A full UK driving license is essential for this role.

DBS clearance is required for this role (we will conduct this check at offer stage.)
