Driver Hire Reading are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work with our highly valued customer on a Temp to Perm basis. Our customer is a nationally recognised comfort furniture retailer.

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the warehouse and ensure that all products are tracked from arriving into the warehouse until dispatched to customer.

Stock:
• To unload and check all product being receipted in from both internal and external sources, ensuring all furniture is scanned into the warehouse using the internal bespoke system.
• Pick customer's orders ready for next day delivery in a timely manner on the internal system.

• Has the ability to prioritise workload and working with tight deadlines.
• A flexible approach to overtime when required.
• An ability to work both in a team and as an individual.
• With the role being customer facing a DBS check will apply.

Car driving licence (for occasional driving duties to cover sickness) & Counterbalance Fork Lift licence are both essential.

Pay: £12.83 per hour (Advanced PAYE model which includes holiday pay) and once transfer is complete, there will be a further 5% pay increase.

Expected hours: 37.5 per week, working Monday to Friday, starting at 7am.
