Building Services Manager required for a leading UK main contractor who specialises in large commercial projects. The project is a large commercial build in the Oxford area, project duration 2 years.

Building Services Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

* Overseeing the production and agreement of logic linked programmes, preconstruction, construction and commissioning.

* Leading the production of PPC and road maps.

* Managing, monitoring and recording of weekly look ahead plan for resource and progress.

* understanding of dependencies, problems posed and available resolutions.

* Managing and sequencing of subcontractors in line with programme requirements.

* Assisting with the production and agreement of project health and safety plans.

* Monitoring of installation works to ensure compliance with Mace processes.

* Monitoring of installation works to ensure compliance with project strategies/plans.

* Monitoring of sub-subcontractor health and safety documentation ensuring validity and supply chain works onsite in line with approved RAMS.

* Producing of sub-subcontractor tender information i.e., scope of works, interfaces schedules, pricing schedules, demarcations. Managing of procurement of sub-subcontractors' packages in line with business and project strategies/plans.

* Managing of sub-subcontractors' scope via a profit and loss reporting including attendance in project level package commercial reviews.

* Managing of sub-subcontractors' package risk register and weekly dependency schedule production to progress works in line with programme.

* Monitoring recording and challenging of weekly look ahead plan for resource and progress.

* Monitoring and auditing of MEP installation works to ensure compliance with construction status drawings i.e., line and level throughout the installation duration, spot checks to be undertaken.

* Production and agreement of the commissioning strategy, management of close out items for package.

* Attending commissioning meetings with detailed knowledge of programme, issues and resolutions
