Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a SEN Class Teacher to join Special Education Needs School in Dulwich area in Southeast London.

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching children with Autism. You will deliver tailored lessons that meet the unique learning requirements of each pupil, adapting materials and tasks to suit their abilities. You will foster a supportive and inclusive classroom, promoting positive peer interactions and ensuring all pupils feel valued. Key responsibilities include implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs), managing behaviour effectively, providing emotional support, and working closely with teaching staff, SEN professionals, and parents to create a nurturing environment where pupils can thrive.

Job Title: SEN Class Teacher
Age Groups: Primary, Secondary and Post 16
Location: Dulwich
Full-Time: 5 days per week
Hours: 8:45am - 4:15pm, plus parent evenings
Salary: Teacher salaries are determined by the national pay scales
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: On-going
Contract Type (temp/perm/temp to perm): Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· QTS or equivalent
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
