Risk Business Partner (Second Line of Defence)
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum
As a 'second line of defence' Risk Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in managing and reporting on risk data for this Financial Services Organisation. Working closely with the Risk Manager and Head of Risk & Compliance, you will ensure the integrity and effectiveness of their risk management framework.
Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Maintain and administer their central repository of risk data, including the 'Risk Universe' of relevant risks, controls, actions, and metrics.
- Reporting: Produce accurate and timely risk-related management information (MI) and supporting papers to facilitate decision-making across the organization.
- Tool and System Management: Manage and improve risk tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements in risk tools, processes, reports, and data to support better risk management practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead engagement efforts across the organization to ensure high-quality risk data submission and positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Contribute to the wider success of the Risk & Compliance Team through the development of the Risk & Resilience Lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: Evidence of appropriate experience and knowledge in risk management, preferably within the UK financial services sector and familiarity with the role of their Financial Services Organisation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data effectively.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management across different levels, including senior leadership, and the ability to foster positive relationships.
- Reporting Experience: Comprehensive experience in producing reports and analysing data to support decision-making processes.
- Controls Testing: Proficiency in completing controls testing, both process and technical, to provide independent assurance.
- Tool Management: Experience operating or managing a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool.
