Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? We are currently seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join a reputable housing association for a 3-month contract. This role will focus on managing reactive repairs and void properties, ensuring that the housing stock is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct surveys and assessments of residential properties to identify maintenance needs.
Manage and oversee reactive repairs, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Assess void properties and recommend necessary works to bring them back into occupancy.
Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and residents to ensure a smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and works completed.

Requirements:

Relevant building surveying qualification (degree or equivalent).
Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in the housing sector.
Strong knowledge of building regulations and health and safety legislation.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
