Are you an experienced Lead/Senior Commercial Engineer with a background in manufacturing?

A global manufacturing company are looking to recruit for a critical commercial role within their business, primarily tasked with guiding a small team of Commercial Engineers to develop relationships between new and existing customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

The Job:

* Develop and strengthen relationships with new/existing companies.

* Producing accurate long, short, and real time sales forecasts

* Managing budgets.

* Providing strategic updates backed by data on business activities, plans and department priorities

* Lead and support business improvement activity

* Maximising margins

* Closely monitoring the market to keep up with trends.

* Assuring quotes have undergone all appropriate checks before submission for approval.

What you'll bring to the team:

* Previous experience of leading a team of Commercial Engineers

* Strong negotiation skills

* Proven experience of developing relationships with internal and external contacts

* Detailed knowledge and understanding of using formulas within Excel.

* Degree educated in a relevant business/commercial discipline is preferable, but not essential

* Good understanding of manufacturing production and processes
