About the Company:

Our client is a well-established and highly respected groundworks contractor specialising in residential developments across the South West of England. With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for delivering high-quality work, they are now seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join their team.

Role Overview:

As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of
groundworks projects for residential developments. You will oversee engineering activities
on-site, working closely with the project management team to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with all relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

● Setting out and surveying for groundwork projects, including foundations, drainage, and road construction.
● Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
● Maintaining accurate records, including site diaries, as-built surveys, and quality control
documentation.
● Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
● Monitoring and enforcing health and safety standards on-site.
● Resolving any technical or design issues in collaboration with the design and project
management teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

● Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or a related field.
● Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally in residential groundworks or similar
projects.
● Proficiency in using setting-out equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and AutoCAD.
● Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
● Full UK driving license.
