Service Manager - Gas / Heating

Salary £40k-£50k (depending on experience) + Company Vehicle + Private Healthcare + Pension + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service and Maintenance Manager to join an established Plumbing and Heating organisation based in the Swindon area and on a permanent and fully employed basis.

Job Summary:

Acting as a Head of Department / Service Manager.
You'll be responsible for managing and leading a team of gas / heating engineers.
Responsible for managing all Gas Safe, OFTEC and Heat Pump/Renewable works.
Schedule and coordinate engineers and diary workloads.
Carry out surveys and estimating of works.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for staff.
Take the lead on promoting and developing the Plumbing and Heating Division.
Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and equipment.Key Skills and Experience Required:

You must have previous experience as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer or OFTEC Engineer.
Be able to demonstrate leadership and previous management experience, ideally with similar experience as a Service Manager or Head of Department within the Plumbing and Heating industry.
Good IT and Computer skills.
You'll need to live commutable to Swindon and to be considered for the role.
