About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a dedicated early years team on the outskirts of Boston, Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the nursery manager and ensuring the highest quality of care and education for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Supervise and mentor nursery staff, providing guidance and professional development
- Assist in creating and implementing engaging learning environments
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive child development records
- Support safeguarding procedures and child protection protocols
- Help manage nursery resources and budget
- Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence

Essential Requirements

- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff
- Current Paediatric First Aid certification
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing environments

Desirable Qualifications

- Level 4 or 5 Management qualification in Early Years
- Additional specialised training in child development
- Experience in a leadership or deputy management role
