An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced AV Engineer to contribute to ensuring these projects are completed on time and within budget, in collaboration with the Project Manager.

As the primary interface between the PM and the engineering team, you will collaborate with top shipyards, architects, and interior designers on remarkable projects. The Lead AV Engineer Role:

• Understanding of audiovisual, mechanical, and electrical services, their integration, regulations, protocols, and related technical language, including control systems, lighting, HVAC, BMS, access control, and security.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, MS Project, and the MS 365 suite.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to develop task lists.
• Accuracy in managing project documentation.
• Leadership skills in managing engineers and good delegation skills.
• Ability to impart engineering knowledge and train others.
• Monitoring and reporting project progress to the PM.
• Managing relationships and interfaces with other contractors.
• Team player with the ability to identify weaknesses and offer guidance and assistance.
• Experience in supervising within the superyacht market or a relevant complementary industry.
• Ability to work independently in an organized and efficient manner.
• Attention to detail and a good understanding of quality control.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and personal.
• Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Clean driving license.
• Punctual, well-presented, and able to represent the company in client meetings.

Lead AV Engineer Essential Skills:

• Multiple project experiences with both Crestron DM and NVX.
• Good working knowledge and experience of networks and network architecture.
• Proficient in digital audio systems such as Qsys or BSS.
• Experience with lighting systems such as Crestron and Lutron for both programming and installation.
• Fault-finding and commissioning skills.
• Competent use of hand tools, test equipment, and soldering.
