This is an exciting opportunity for learning support assistants to join our team through the expansion of our unit provision.

• An individual who has experience of working with children with Autism and their associated needs

The role:

Learning Support assistants are an integral part of our team, with two assistants in each of our classes, led by a class teacher. Your will consist of supporting learning led by the class teacher, small group work and occasionally 1.1 support.

In addition, teaching assistants will support students with personal care and hygiene. The assistant will be responsible for assisting the teacher to plan and assess student progress in all areas of the curriculum, whilst managing any behaviours displayed by students as part of a class team.

You should have proven experience of working within primary schools and have at least NVQ2 qualifications or GCSE C or above in both English and Maths
