An exciting opportunity for a Technical Designer to deliver a Commercial fit out project fro one of London's leading office design and build experts. The project you will deliver is a commercial office fit out project over 6 levels including new staircase, platform lift, toilet and shower accommodation in addition to office, cafe and showroom areas.

Responsibilities of a Lead Technical Designer

To create a fully co-ordinated design/construction pack of information for the proposed works.
You will need good Building regulation knowledge to support or PM and Concept team albeit utilising an external BC advisor in support.
You will be required to proactively chase and request sub-contractor information in support of our construction pack and ensuring co-ordination of all elements is achieved.
You will be liaising with our subcontractor base and professional team including structural engineers, acousticians etc.
You will be required to attend site meeting for both contractors and client meetings alike where you will be required to contribute proactively to the discussions.Bit more about the role

There may be occasions during the construction process to support the client and greater team on any ongoing design changes that may arise, in terms of planning and design decisions.
We will require you to work from our London office in Wimbledon or the site (Angel) during this period, there may be a requirement to base yourself on site for a set number of days a week during the construction phase.
You will need to be team player/personable and a good communicator both verbally and drawn.
You need to be disciplined & organised in your approach.
