MECHANICAL SITE MANAGER !
Currently looking for a mechanical site manager to work on a student accomodation!
This role will be to oversee the mechanical installation and maintenance on a prominent residential / commercial development project in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all mechanical installation work on-site for a residential/commercial development project.
* Ensure all work complies with building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Monitor progress and quality of mechanical installations, ensuring they meet required specifications.
* Manage site health and safety, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
* Liaise with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Conduct site inspections, quality control, and resolve any mechanical-related issues that arise.
* Provide leadership and guidance to site team members and subcontractors.
* Ensure all mechanical systems are installed and tested to meet the design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements:
* CSCS CARD
* SMSTS
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installations, and regulations for both residential and commercial projects.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on-site.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
