RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing property development company in Alderley Edge who are recruiting for a property accountant to join their growing team. This role is a new role to help support the finance department with service charge and ground rent management.
You will work along side another property accountant and report back to the financial director.

The Role
- Produce Service Charge and ground rent invoices
- Check payments and post to the relevant accounts on a weekly basis
- Deal with an manage all correspondence on a daily basis, including payments, solicitor cheques and emails
- Prepare Service Charge budgets and discuss with property managers
- Reconcile Service Charges to allow auditors to check and produced reports
- Liaise with solicitors when required
- Answer any calls/queries replaced to invoices and statements
The Person
- Experience within the property industry, property development or construction would be an advantage
- Experience of service charges
- Experienced within accounts payable or an accounts setting is essential
- A profession accounting qualification AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or studying would be an advantage
- Experience using QUBE or COINS would be an advantage
- Strong MS Excel skills
