About the firm:

We are looking to aid our client who is a dynamic, full-service law firm with a turnover of £10 million, dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services in a supportive and enjoyable work environment. We are seeking a Compliance Officer to oversee their compliance activities and collaborate closely with their Chief Executive, who holds the roles of COLP, MLRO, and COFA.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the full spectrum of compliance activities across the firm.
* Work directly with the CEO on compliance and risk management initiatives.
* Monitor and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
* Provide training and support to staff on compliance matters.
* Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
* Liaise with external regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a compliance role within a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of legal compliance frameworks and risk management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
