Role Overview:
The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee the full design and build (D&B) from stage 3 onwards, working closely with specialist CDP contractors. The project encompasses a range of services including ventilation, public health, mechanical sprinkler systems, VRF heating/cooling, and BMS. You will be responsible for the full project management of all mechanical services, collaborating seamlessly with the Electrical Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- General Management: Direct, supervise, and support all project operations through appropriate company staff. Develop, plan, and implement company policies and goals.
- Customer Service: Maintain and enhance high standards of customer service, ensuring close contact with existing customers and fostering new relationships.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all installation works comply with relevant standards and legislation.
- Operational Procedures: Plan and allocate specific projects and tasks, monitor workloads, and prepare operational project programmes.
- Commercial Management: Monitor project commercial performance, prepare detailed work in progress reports, and manage final account preparations.
- Administration: Maintain up-to-date project files and administrative systems in line with company requirements.
- Personnel Management: Communicate performance expectations and ensure productivity and accountability.
- Health and Safety: Uphold company standards for health and safety, initiate and support enquiries into incidents, and monitor site inspections.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in mechanical project management, particularly in warehouse fit-outs or similar large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of M&E services including ventilation, public health, mechanical sprinkler systems, VRF heating/cooling, and BMS.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Thorough knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to mechanical installations.
- Strong organisational and operational planning abilities.
- Proficiency in commercial management and reporting.
- Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.
