Our client is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join their growing team.

The client is a vehicle manufacturer based in London. As part of the planned growth, they want to recruit an additional Software Developer. The company is in semi start-up phase of their growth and needs someone who is willing to get involved and be part of the whole team, in order to deliver vehicles to end users within agreed timescales.

We are seeking a hard-working, driven and committed Software Engineer who is keen to get involved with all aspects of Software systems design and development, working with the Head of Software and EDS engineer to develop the embedded software within our vehicles.

The primary purpose is to develop, test and overcome issues with software development to configure the vehicle's control modules and systems to communicate and integrate with one another.
•Excellent understanding of automotive control software and EV technology
•Highly experienced in automotive architectures and communications protocols to include CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet
•Strong levels of knowledge and understanding of UDS, ISO14229, DOIP
•Proven capability of vehicle analysis using Vector based tools (or similar), such as CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe
•A high level of competency with scripting languages such as CAPL, Python, VBA
•Extensive experience with Matlab/Simulink based systems and development
•Proficient with HIL test rigs and on-vehicle debugging activities
•Understanding of BMS software and control/integration methodologies

Experience working in start-ups or low volume manufacturing, preferably in automotive or motorsport
