This company is a UK-based Financial Services organisation founded in 2012. They offer Credit Card and Mortgages and are a modern and dynamic brand. They are a big player in their sector, with a focus on delighting their customers and making people happier about money.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Associate to join this company's Customer Support team. The role involves validating documents and closing deceased customers' accounts while supporting family members at every step of the process. The successful candidate will provide specialist bereavement support and will work as part of a large and diverse team, where everyone works together to achieve an excellent customer outcome. The role requires excellent communication and listening skills, the ability to empathise and understand customer situations, and experience in a customer services or support role. The successful candidate will have excellent PC skills, including the use of Microsoft packages, and will be familiar with the need for performance orientation and customer focus. This is a flexible role that requires a willingness to get involved in other areas of the department where the customer needs us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate documents and close deceased customers' accounts
  • Provide specialist bereavement support
  • Communicate with relatives, Funeral Directors, Solicitors and relevant outside agencies
  • Work as part of a large and diverse team
  • Work within regulatory frameworks

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in a customer services or support role
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • The ability to empathise and understand customer situations
  • Excellent PC skills, including the use of Microsoft packages
  • Familiar with the need for performance orientation and customer focus
