My client is a privately owned leading manufacturers within its field of process engineering and associated products supplying into a wide variety of industries, such as construction and automotive. The company is a well-established, with over 20 years of manufacturing experience to the global markets, working closely with its blue chip clients on a global scale. The York site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure organisation.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Understanding of PPM systems

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from either an electrical or mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with either bias but multi-skilled, with manufacturing machinery experience, within a medium to heavy industry process. If you have worked on PPM systems, it would be advantageous. Also, able, and willing to work on motors, drives and conveyors, process machinery, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, and other manufacturing processes. There is training and career development on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
