Description

• Maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to handle any financial irregularities that occur.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time.
• Evaluate financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategise solutions, and help organisations run efficiently.
• Offer guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximisation.
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes related to laws and regulations.
• Lead and direct the work of others in the department.

Profile

A successful 'Senior Accountant' should have:

• Qualified or part qualified (ACA, ACCA, etc).
• A solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel, and knowledge of relevant accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex numerical data.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
