Broker - Financial Institutions , London Aon has an exciting opportunity for a Broker to join our Financial Institutions team, which forms part of our Global Broking Centre. This role will suit an individual with FI experience, who is looking to step into a Broker level position and take on more responsibility. It involves co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Financial Institutions business within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis in accordance with Marketing Strategy. This is a Hybrid role that will involve some office and home-based working. What the day will look like Review Submission Lead quote broking / Follow market broking Present terms to client / network Firm Order broking (PPL / email) Record broking activity in market sheets Review draft / final MRC Send Cover confirmation to client/network Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients Client meetings Respond to A/C queries Establish and manage pipeline Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. Skills and experience that will lead to success Minimum of 3 years’ experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer Minimum of 18m technical Insurance knowledge across Financial Lines Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service Experience of managing effective client relationships.
