Job Opportunity: Shipping Co-Ordinator 🌍

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum 📈

Are you a detail-oriented individual with great organisational skills? Are you experienced in handling shipping documentation and coordinating logistics? Then our client wants to hear from you! They are currently seeking a Shipping Co-Ordinator to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities: 📋

Prepare accurate and efficient shipping documentation for seamless goods transition
Allocate work to the production facility
Create Bills of Landing (BOLs) accurately and efficiently
Obtain costs and quotes for each delivery
Negotiate rates with hauliers and freight forwarders
Ensure all paperwork is processed on time
Communicate with external haulage and shipping companies
Collaborate with the despatch team to ensure correct material handling
Maintain accurate freight costs for correct invoicing
Scan and store all documentation in line with company processes
Liaise with sales team for shipping term alignment
Resolve any pre-shipment issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure filing and information storage complies with legal requirements
Maintain relevant OBS statuses to manage workloadRequirements: 🎓

Administration skills and experience in shipping coordination
Knowledge of UK transport legislation and Estelplan (desirable)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
Excellent analytical and organisational skills
Strong mathematical abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Effective communication and team-working skills
