Job Description:

Vision for Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in the DL1 area. The role is full-time, starting on January 25, and will be on going, with the possibility of becoming longer term and permanent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on young learners at a crucial stage of their education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, supporting the academic and social development of students in Y1.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to Y1 students.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school activities and events.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Y1.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil development.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before the start date).
