Ashton Recruitment requires a Carpet Sales Advisor for our client based in Belfast

Position: Carpet Showroom Advisor

Location: Belfast

Duration: Temporary - Permanent

Rate of Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour + Commission

Hours: 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone to ensure they purchase the right products/ services that they need.
• Carrying out home visits to take precise measurements and provide a home consultation service
• Sharing product knowledge and giving advice to customers
• Providing customers with estimates
• Responding to email / social media enquiries
• Updating customer details using a CRM software system
• Ensuring the store is kept presentable and tidy
• Supporting colleagues within the store

Essential Criteria

• Strong communication skills
• Good understanding of arithmetic
• Face to face sales experience preferbally in a showroom setting
• Basic understanding of cutting/laying carpets
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent level of customer service
• Smart appearance

Desirable Experience

• Experience of working in the carpet/ flooring industry
