My client is seeking an AV Project Engineer to join their team. You may be an AV Commissioning Engineer looking for their next step and have an interest in pursuing a Project Engineer role as part of your career progression. You will be proficient in AutoCAD and AV Hardware and will have experience of directly dealing with clients.

Please note - you MUST have AV experience to be considered for this opportunity.

This is a Hybrid role so would suit someone looking for flexibility in their working week.

Duties:

Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant tools to develop detailed engineering plans for AV integration projects
Ensure that project designs adhere to industry standards, client specifications, and budget constraints
Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of hardware components to ensure compatibility and reliability
Provide technical guidance to the installation team throughout project implementation
Work closely as the technical expert with the Project Manager and wider project team
Be the AV engineering subject matter expert on all things related to AV project delivery
Collaborate closely with project managers and installation teams to address technical challenges and maintain quality standards
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications
Attend site for sign off and approval of project delivery with your Project Manager
Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, and progress reports
Communicate project status updates and key information to internal stakeholders and clients
