Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing M&E contractor based in Nottingham, where you will oversee a variety of contracts across the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors.

The Role:

As the Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will take a leadership role in managing mechanical contracts, ensuring successful delivery to the highest standards. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to help shape and develop the mechanical division, playing a key role in the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage multiple mechanical contracts from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

* Develop and implement project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

* Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and site staff.

* Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is completed to the highest quality and adheres to health and safety regulations.

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently.

* Prepare financial reports, monitor costs, and ensure profitability of projects.

* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive cost savings.

* Assist with tendering and securing new contracts, contributing to business development.

* Play a pivotal role in developing and managing the mechanical division as part of the company's strategic vision.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

* Proven experience in mechanical contract management within the commercial, industrial, or retail sectors.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* A solid understanding of mechanical building services installations and systems.

* In-depth knowledge of UK regulations and industry standards.

* Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

* Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control.

* A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail.

* Relevant mechanical qualifications and a valid CSCS card.
