Profile -  - Mechanical Design Engineer

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing and evolving business in Cheltenham.

You will be responsible for conceptualising new product and systems as well as modifying and detailing existing systems for a rang of high profile clients.

Ideally you'll have some exposure and experience in machinery or automated system design, however other experiences will also be considered.

Duties - Mechanical Design Engineer

Design and development of new and existing components/products.
Conceptual Design as well as product modifications.
Creation of both 3D models and 2D drawing.
Develop site layout plans for installation phase.
Creation of BOM to enable manufacture.
Overseeing and contributing to projects from a management perspective.
Dependant on project complexity, taking ownership of full projects.

Background - Mechanical Design Engineer

Special purpose machinery design (Preferable)
Experience with either Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
Preferably HNC minimum in engineering discipline.
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Full Driving licence
