They build strong relationships with parents and work together to ensure their children are happy, safe and successful.Your new roleYour Teaching Assistant duties will be helping Year 4 children with their learning, often with a particular focus on literacy and numeracy, setting up equipment for lessons and keeping classrooms safe and tidy, helping develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials, motivating, and encouraging pupils and monitoring and recording children's behaviour and progress. Strong communication skills, patience, resilience and a dedication to student academic learning. What you'll need to succeed

• You will need to have Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualifications.
• DBS must be on the update service.
• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
• You will be required to have experience working within KS2.
• You will be required to have experience supporting a child on a 1:1 basics.
