Our client are a family business with a solid reputation of manufacturing plumbing products for over 100 years. They have a number of divisions who service many diiferent market sectors within industry and commerce. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager for North of the UK to develop new and established accounts in the midlands and everything north. You will sell a large range of plumbing products and components to a variety of markets that include Specifiers, Developers, OEM's, Facilities Management companies, Offsite manufacturers and Commercial landlords for refurbishment projects. You will develop relationships at all levels in these sectors as well as introduce products at the design phase of the project design process and sell value benefits.
You will work in parnership with internal commercial and sales support teams and operate closely with the sales teams throughtout the country. You will have a solid track record in building product sales ideally in the plumbing or heating sector and understand the various routes to market that includes New Build, Merchants, Contractors and Specifiers.
