A mainstream secondary school in Chingford, E4 is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support students in managing their behaviour and engagement in learning. Providing 1:1 and small group behaviour support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Implementing strategies to help students manage emotions and improve focus in lessons.
Supporting teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment.
Building strong, trusting relationships with students to help them develop resilience.
Working closely with pastoral staff and SENCO to implement behaviour plans.The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working in a behaviour support role, particularly in a secondary school.
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate situations effectively.
A patient, firm, and understanding approach to working with young people.
