About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping students develop their love for English language and literature while achieving their academic potential.

This is a full-time position, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Inspire and challenge students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
Assess, record, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school's ethos and objectives.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management skills.
A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
