Exciting Career Opportunity - Deputy Manager for Children's Residential Care 🌟

We are working on a Deputy Manager to join our clients team, supporting our mission to create a safe and nurturing environment for young people in our care.

As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, ensuring that the needs of the young people are met, and fostering an environment of respect, choice, and independence. You will play a key role in creating care plans, supervising staff, and promoting positive staff well-being. This is a hands-on role where you will directly impact the lives of young people, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the welfare and care of young people, ensuring that their individual needs are met.

* Lead and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

* Implement care programs and activities in partnership with colleagues and external professionals.

* Ensure that the home is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with regulations.

* Support and guide staff development through training, mentorship, and supervision.

* Lead recruitment, induction, and performance management of staff members.

* Work closely with the Registered Manager to provide reports and updates on the home's operations.

* Has experience in children's residential care and leadership roles.
