Firmware Engineer SC Cleared 12-Month Contract Portsmouth – Hybrid£65-£75 p/h (Inside IR35)

Our client require multiple Firmware Engineer’s to join their team on a long-term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Helping deliver a new product to the MoD
• Generate, test, and integrate code for software-defined modem technologies
• Work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team ensuring to meat tight deadlines
• Work on Xilinx products

Skills Required:

• 4+ years’ professional experience being a Firmware Engineer with experience of Xilinux products (primarily use of block diagrams and non-project mode)
• Understanding of DSP and VHDL encoding to a high standard
• Experience with Atlassian toolset
• Hands-on experience using SysML or UML

Desirable:

• Python experience (testing)
• Background in satellite communication systems/Modem technology
