PP Associates are partnered with schools and Multi-Academy Trusts throughout the Merseyside region.

We are recruiting experienced teaching assistants to join our supply team for temporary and short term contracts.

As a supply teaching assistant you will be a valuable member of the school staff and play a key role in?supporting pupils in learning.This will include supporting individual children and small groups on tasks You will also play an important role in the educational and social development of pupils. As part of this role you will support the teacher in their lessons and preparation.

The duration of these roles depends on the needs of individual schools. The roles can be covering absence or due to additional funding.

Applicants must have worked in a school environment previously, have a teaching assistant qualification and hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to apply for one.

Position Details:

• Location: Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley and Halton

• Position: Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3)

• Hours: Flexible working hours available

• Start date: September 2024

• Duration: ongoing

• Hourly rate: £12.50-£14.00 p/h

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications related to teaching assistant at L2 or L3.

• Have experience working in a school environment

• Have knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices

• Hold safeguarding training, completed in the last 12 months, or be prepared to undertake refresher training.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

• Provide two professional child-related references.
