About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Broadstairs. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, where you will play a key role in driving project success from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of communication between customers and internal departments, ensuring clear, concise, and effective updates.
  • Oversee projects to ensure lead times are met and maintain alignment with the company's timelines.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of projects to protect and maximise margins where within your control.
  • Process accurate project data, identifying and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with Directors to secure sign-offs and agreement on key deliverables.
  • Maintain real-time updates to reflect site changes and communicate these effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of variation cost increases and ensure they are communicated and justified.
  • Monitor and flag early signs of project disruptions, such as underperformance in products, installations, or site conditions that may impact timelines and invoicing.
  • Escalate concerns through the agreed process to mitigate risks.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining a client-focused approach throughout the project lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and protecting margins.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential project issues.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
