This well-established construction consultancy firm is seeking a driven Senior Planner to join their dynamic infrastructure team in London. Key responsibilities for the Senior Planner:

  • Develop and manage schedules, ensuring seamless integration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings to challenge and drive project progress and performance.
  • Support Planning/Project Controls Managers in maintaining schedule integrity and interfaces.
  • Manage contract requirements, ensuring compliance with NEC, JCT, FIDIC, and rail frameworks.
  • Deliver advanced reporting, including Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Perform critical path analysis and scenario planning to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
  • Integrate schedules with cost and risk data to provide holistic project insights.

Requirements of the Senior Planner:

  • Demonstrated experience on large, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Expertise in planning fundamentals, critical path analysis, and tendering.
  • Strong cost/resource loading experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NEC, JCT, and FIDIC contracts.
  • Advanced reporting capabilities and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership and mentorship experience.
  • Risk management expertise, including quantitative schedule risk analysis (QSRA).
  • Forensic planning capabilities.
  • Rail industry experience, including knowledge of systems, technologies, and regulatory bodies (e.g., DfT).
