Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Project located throughout Kent and parts of London

About the company: Our client is a fast growing building services contractor based in Kent who specialise in providing full M&E design and installation of Education, healthcare and retirement Home projects. 

Role Overview: Mechanical Project Engineer to be involved in the design and installation of mechanical installations on 2 retrofit projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design surveys and provide detailed information to the design team.

Review tenders focusing on design, programme, and risks.

Conduct design Q&A sessions with clients and the Project Delivery Team.

Submit and track RFIs to resolve project-related queries.

Create procurement documents and complete technical submittals.

Develop project programmes and highlight key risks.

Ensure materials, plant, and equipment are ordered before mobilisation.

Collaborate with the Commercial Team to award contracts.

Support quality assurance throughout projects.

Draft and issue comprehensive handover documents, including O&M manuals.
