PMLD Teaching Assistant - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN at a lovely school near to Burnley. You must be comfortable administering personal care and supporting children with complex needs.

Although experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for the individuals.

Hours: 8:30am-4pm

Full time/part time: Full time only
Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Any personal or professional experience supporting children with SEN
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be providedTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references OTHER
